Scholars International Academy (SIA) is a thriving British Curriculum school, located in the heart of Sharjah’s education sector. Accredited by BSME and BSO, SIA offers a high-caliber education to students aged 3 to 18. We are part of the Scholars International Group of schools.
Assessment is mandatory
for all children seeking admission from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13.
The admissions procedure is made up of 4 steps: an Online Q & A session, online application, an assessment and registration.
All steps need to be booked by appointment.
The 5 Step Admissions Process
Step 1 – Online Q & A Sessions
Kindly contact us via email or telephone to book an online Q&A session at Scholars International Academy. The Q&A session aims to provide an insight on the British Curriculum, our Education Philosophy, School Facilities and our Engaging Learning Environment.
Step 3 – Online Application
Once you want to proceed with your child’s enrollment, please contact our
Admissions Manager, Ms. Sara Homaydi at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the landline number 06 519 7000 for a link to the Online Application form.
Once you have completed the Online Application process, our admissions team will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule an assessment for your child.
Step 4 – Student Assessment (Mandatory)
Kindly note that the non-refundable assessment fees of AED 200 is payable online.
The purpose of the assessment is to gain an understanding of the child’s stage of language development, knowledge, abilities and experience in relation to our academic programme.
There is no preparation required for the Assessment and it is not the only deciding factor as to whether a seat is offered. This is not an exam but merely a guide for us to identify each student’s capabilities and to allow the admissions team to make the most informed decisions regarding placement for your child, the class and class teacher.
You will be contacted within 24 hours from the date of the assessment. If your child is offered a seat at SIA, you will be asked to proceed with registration.
PLEASE NOTE: For entry into Years 1 to 13, successful completion of the assessment and review of school documents is required and for Years 10-13 the same is followed by an interview with the Principal or Head of Secondary regarding subject selection.
